Improve your concentration meditation
The impact of meditation on attention and concentration of human beings is nothing new. Cartel investigations have shown that meditation improves these skills, and this combined with this practice easier to think clearly and feel good about ourselves, shows that carrying it out is a smart way.
We are discussing more evidence that shows that meditation is the best alternative therapy to concentrate and focus the mind, specifically from a study conducted by researchers at the University of California – Davis, who observed the effects of meditation on a group of sixty people.
Thirty of them were sent to a meditation retreat for three months to practice Zen meditation. During their retreat they asked patients to undertake some exercises aimed at measuring their ability to make visual distinctions and sustain visual attention.
Its performance improved as the treatment was progressing, and in comparison with the other thirty participants (who were taken as controls), the effects persisted after the end of the retreat. In people who continued to meditate, the effects persisted even until five months later.
This is not the first research of its kind to be conducted. However, it is important because it increases the accumulation of evidence that allows light to bring the benefits of meditation.
